St. Xavier’s High School, Sector-49, Gurugram celebrated AFICIONADO- The Scholars’ Day on April 29, 2023 to felicitate all the young and budding meritorious students for the Academic Session 2022-23.

This was an ultimate way to boost their confidence and dedication towards studies.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Ashvini Jakhar and Guest of Honour Mr. Varun Mata, Special Invitee, Ms. Rekha Jakhar, Director Principal Mr John Rafi, Middle Wing Headmistress Ms Geeta Kanwar, Pre-Primary Headmistress Ms Aparna Chandra, Senior Coordinator Ms Swati Rana and Primary Coordinator Ms Geetha encouraged the budding scholars by presenting certificates, mementos and badges to them.

Along with it, the dignitaries also presented awards to the laudable Xaverians for their outstanding performance in Trinity Speech and Drama.

The gracious event was finally concluded with an enlightening speech by the Director Principal wherein he wished to see all the Scholars once again in the next academic session Scholars’ Day by being consistent and outstanding throughout this academic session also.

St. Xavier’s High School is glad to conduct an online session for the parents of Grades VII & VIII on Understanding Children’s Emotions by Ms Himani Kapur, Counselling expert of the School on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 12 noon to equip us with children’s emotions.

The more we can look underneath a child’s behaviour to understand it, the more compassion we’ll have.

Seeing red never looked better!

Red color can be very impactful in a student's life as it symbolizes energy, passion, and excitement. It can also represent strength and determination, which are important qualities for success in academics and personal growth. Today, on 27th April,2023 we celebrated Red color day in our school with myriad activities associated to it. Our students came all dressed in red color and brought along red color pictures to add brightness to the class group collage. They also participated and enjoyed in red color themed games like find the red color objects etc. How can children go without fun craft from school on special days and so kids crafted their own red goggles to beat the heat. Overall, red color day celebrations proved to be a great way to foster positive and engaging academic environment connecting lifeskills and nature.

The proud Xaverian's of grade Nursery started of their learning with an enriching and fun activity. Fun with Squeezy Sponge was conducted to improve dexterity and gross motor skills of the little Xaverians as they were engaged with the sponge they intuitively understood the idea of absorption.

Inter Class Poster Making Competition

Earth Day has been celebrated by billions of people around the globe, to join together in promoting awareness for the health of our environment. Xaverians of grades 3-8 raised awareness using colour and paint, creating posters celebrating Mother Earth with an Inter Class Poster Making Competition held on 18 April, 2023. Xaverians created masterpieces sending across a message to the world to save Earth.

To apprise of the finer nuances of the available courses for the XAVERIANS at SXHS 49 under the umbrella of Trinity College,London, an online Information Session will be organised on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 10:30 am.

The session will be conducted by the Academic Team of Trinity College London (India). It will provide all relevant details to the parents regarding the conduction and assessment of the courses. It will also include an Open House for the parents to clarify their doubts/queries, if any.

Book Donation Drive 2023

Giving is not just making a donation, its about making a difference. Keeping this noble thought in mind, Xaverians made a difference by donationg nearly 4000 books collected during the Books Donation Drive to the children with a spark for education. It was indeed a proud moment to witness the little Xaverians read out books to the children of the same age as them.
