Day -5 of Yoga Week??????????- Curated Calm- Meditation for Relaxation of Mind
Meditation and mindfulness have become quite popular in recent years.Yoga postures, Pranayama and meditation are effective techniques to release stress.
The school concluded the Yoga Week with Jal Neeti and Meditation Session. Students, parents and teachers were encouraged to participate in the activities which were led by the Yoga teacher Ms. Malkeet. Different yoga postures and breathing techniques were taught to strengthen the immunity. The innumerable benefits of practicing Yoga and mediation were also elucidated to all the participants. The abundant peace derived from doing the Asanas was evident from the faces of the students, parents and the mentors.
The week long celebration concluded with breathing techniques and exercises like Pranayams, Anuloma and Viloma, Jal neeti, Meditation and Relaxation with Laughter yoga. The audience was encouraged to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration as Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self and to the self.
