All sections of Grades 1 and 2 came together to celebrate International Dance Day with great enthusiasm and energy. The young performers presented a vibrant array of dances from around the world, beautifully illustrating that dance is a universal language that unites people through joy, expression, and creativity.
Through their lively performances, students brought different cultures and traditions to life, demonstrating how dance can tell stories, celebrate special moments, and spread happiness. It was heartwarming to see them perform with such confidence and joy.
The event concluded with inspiring words from the Head Mistress of the Primary Department, Ms. Jayashree Venkatesh, who emphasized the importance of respecting and appreciating diverse cultures. It was a delightful and enriching experience, offering students a meaningful way to learn about global celebrations.

On April 22, 2025, the students of Grade IV-A conducted a thoughtful and well-organized assembly to commemorate the death anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan — renowned philosopher, educator, and India’s second President. The assembly began with a warm welcome, hymn, and the Lord’s Prayer, setting a reflective tone. A news segment followed, sharing global, national, and sports updates in the spirit of Dr. Radhakrishnan’s belief in independent thinking.

School achievements were then celebrated, followed by a ‘Fact File’ tribute connecting Dr. Radhakrishnan’s values with Earth Day, encouraging students to be responsible global citizens. A creative role play depicted the evolution of education, emphasizing that while tools may change, the purpose of nurturing minds and hearts remains constant.

The assembly concluded with a message of peace and gratitude, and a motivating address by the Head Mistress Ma’am. It was a fitting tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan’s enduring legacy, brought alive through sincere student participation and thoughtful presentations.

St. Xavier's High School hosted the delightful "Yellow Fiesta," introducing the vibrant colour yellow to children of Nascent and Nursery grades. Dressed in diverse shades and tints of yellow, the young learners brought yellow-coloured objects from home, enthusiastically discussing them.Whlie the little munchkins from grade Nascent prepared the healthy corn salad, did lemon and spoon race . The Nursery children showcased their agility and enthusiasm by crossing a tunnel constructed with yellow hula hoops and chairs, adding an adventurous flair to the festivities. The children engaged in texture and finger printing activities to craft adorable honeybees and beehives. Through these hands-on experiences, the students explored the connection between colour, nature, and creativity, fostering both joy and curiosity.The event made learning fun and also celebrated the beauty and warmth of the colour yellow, leaving a lasting impression on the little ones

On April 21, 2025, the students of Grade 2B delivered a heartwarming Earth Day assembly that left everyone inspired. They opened by thoughtfully explaining the meaning of Earth Day and its connection to two key Sustainable Development Goals — SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).A powerful skit followed, vividly highlighting the harmful effects of factory pollution and deforestation, encouraging the audience to reflect on the urgent need for change. The assembly concluded with a captivating dance performance, beautifully conveying the powerful message: "Save Earth, Save Our Future, Be the Change!" Their heartfelt efforts reminded everyone that protecting our planet is a responsibility to be lived every day, not just celebrated once a year.
