    The Mother’s Day celebration at St. Xavier’s High School, sector 49, on May 9, 2025 was a heartwarming and vibrant event that paid tribute to the invaluable role of mothers in our lives, who were the special guests for the day.
    The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Director-Principal ma’am, Pre-primary and Primary Headmistress  along with some mothers, setting a serene and respectful tone for the event. The celebration commenced with poem recitations, where students of Grade I shared heartfelt verses that highlighted the selfless love, sacrifices, and strength of mothers. A beautifully synchronized choir performance by KG students dedicated to motherhood was a soulful experience. The stage came alive with graceful dance performances by students of UKG and grade II. Their coordinated movements and expressive gestures touched the hearts of everyone present. The highlight of the event was the Ramp Walk competition as dressed elegantly in colourful sarees, mothers walked the ramp with poise and grace, showcasing confidence, beauty, and pride in their traditional attire. Their smiles and charisma lit up the stage and drew huge cheers from the audience. The celebration continued with an exciting Dance Competition, where our super talented moms delivered energetic and joyful performances that amazed one and all.  Laughter and excitement filled the atrium as mothers participated with great zeal and sportsmanship in several one-minute games.
    The event concluded with a heartfelt thank-you note by Director-Principal ma’am, recognizing the unwavering support and love that mothers provide followed by the National Anthem. The day was a perfect blend of emotions, entertainment, and appreciation, making it a memorable celebration for all our super moms.

        The Kindergarten students had an exciting and educational visit to the nearby HDFC Bank today. The visit was organized to introduce young learners to the concept of money and the important role banks play in our daily lives.
        The bank staff gave the children a warm welcome and guided them through various sections of the bank, including the teller counter. The students were shown how people deposit and withdraw money and were fascinated by the machines and computers used in the banking process.
        Teachers also took this opportunity to explain the importance of money and the value of saving it. A day before the visit, the children participated in a fun activity where they deposited coins into a piggy bank. Through this hands-on experience, they learned how small steps in saving money can make a big difference over time.

          On the occasion of World Athletics Day, the students of Grade VIII C at St. Xavier’s High School presented a heartwarming and powerful assembly on 6th May, 2025, celebrating the theme "Rags to Riches" through the lens of sports legends who rose from humble beginnings to global fame.
          The assembly began with a prayer and a motivational thought that echoed the belief that talent knows no boundaries, and true determination can overcome any obstacle. The highlight of the event was a lively and insightful talk show, where students role-played as iconic athletes who once struggled with poverty and societal challenges, yet achieved greatness with sheer grit and perseverance.
          Characters included Milkha Singh, the “Flying Sikh” who overcame the trauma of Partition; Geeta and Babita Phogat, daughters of a wrestler who broke stereotypes; Irfan Pathan, who trained in modest surroundings and went on to shine on the cricket field; Neeraj Chopra, who hurled himself into history with a golden javelin; Mary Kom, who boxed her way from a small village to Olympic glory; and global football star Cristiano Ronaldo, who came from a poor family in Portugal and became one of the greatest athletes of all time.
          Following the talk show, a beautiful and original poem dedicated to athletes was recited, praising their spirit, struggle, and success. It was a tribute to the unwavering dedication that drives champions.
          The energy peaked with a vibrant and powerful dance performance by the students of Grade VIII C, which celebrated the strength, discipline, and unbreakable spirit of athletes across the world.
          The Director-Principal, Ms. Ritu Mehta, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement and praised the students for showcasing such powerful stories of transformation. She reminded everyone that sports are not just about physical strength, but also about courage, discipline, and rising above one’s circumstances.
          The assembly concluded with the national anthem, leaving the audience inspired and uplifted by stories of true champions who turned their struggles into stepping stones to success.

            A proud and inspiring day unfolded on May 3, 2025, as St. Xavier’s High School formally instated its recently tagged Student Council in a grand Investiture form. The event was graced by our recognized Chief Guest, Mr. Sumit Kumar Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, whose words of stimulant added depth to the occasion.

              The young Xaverians of KG A put up a heartwarming assembly to celebrate Labour Day, spreading a strong message of respect and gratitude for the contributions of workers in our society. The children spoke confidently about different professions, showcasing impressive awareness and clarity.
              The highlight of the event was a soulful group song that created an atmosphere of hope and responsibility, followed by a vibrant dance performance that beautifully captured the theme. The assembly was appreciated by all.
              Labour Day Celebration in School
              Labour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy by our Pre-Primary wing. The little ones expressed their gratitude by making heartfelt cards and distributing sweets to ancillary staff who help keep our school running smoothly.
