St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 49, celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with immense pride, patriotic fervour, and deep reverence for the values enshrined in our Constitution. The campus resonated with the spirit of unity, integrity, and national pride as students, teachers, and staff came together to honour this historic occasion.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag by the Director Principal, Ms. Ritu Mehta, followed by the National Anthem, which filled every heart with devotion and respect for the nation. In her inspiring address, Ma’am emphasized the significance of constitutional rights, Civic values, responsible citizenship, and the role of education in nation-building.
The programme was further enriched by a series of vibrant cultural performances including patriotic songs, Hindi poetry, classical dance, thought-provoking monologues, and a powerful skit, beautifully presented by students across different grades. Each performance reflected the ideals of courage, sacrifice, diversity, and unity that define India.
The event was graced by the able leadership and guidance of HM Senior School – Ms. Malabika Chattopadhyay, HM Middle School – Ms. Geeta Kanwar, and HM Primary School- Ms. Jayshree and HM Pre-Primary – Ms. Aparna, whose unwavering support and commitment ensured the smooth and meaningful execution of the celebration.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of the entire Xavier’s fraternity—teachers, students, staff, and the management—who worked together to make the occasion memorable and impactful.
