St. Xavier’s High School organised MOMents 2022: dedicated to all the Mothers – Every child’s first superhero! 
 
Endearing mothers of the Xaverians were invited to participate in MOMents 2022 on 7th May’22. The event commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by our honorable Director Principal, Mr. John Rafi followed by praising the Lord with Ganesh Vandana by the students. Amusing games like Needle and Thread, Moods of Music, Mom and Me to name a few were played whole-heartedly by the mothers and the Xaverians . Early Bird Mom, Ms Shweta Runda m/o Davina Toppo of Grade VIII was the first one to reach the venue. For ‘Thread and Needle’ game, Ms Shveta Jangra, m/o Bhoomika Jangra and Anika Jangra of VII B and V C respectively bagged the first position. Ms Vandana Sharma, m/o Mishita Sharma of Grade V D blocked the second position and Ms Shelly Agarwal, m/o Rayna Agarwal of Grade V A won the third position. In the game- ‘Moods of Music’, Ms Jasneet Srivastava m/o Addya Srivastava of III B guessed the song right and won the first position, Ms Neha Narang m/o Vihaan Narang of VI- I sung the melody on the second position and Ms Richa Maheshwari m/o Tanmay Maheshwari of III-B bagged the third position. In the game ‘Mom and Me’, the combined effort of the mommy and the child made the teams win prizes. First Prize was won by Ms Priyanka Walia with Prisha Walia of V E, whereas the first runner up team was Ms Preetika with her ward Ms Lavyaansh Sharma of V C and right behind them were Ms Sabina with her ward Shivankur of III H bagging the third position. A host of performances were organized by the students and the teachers to honour all the mothers. Xavierians mesmerized the audience by their soulful musical and foot-tapping dance performances. A fun activity of tongue twisters with mothers elevated the level of excitement even more. The teachers made the day special by their melodious song performance. The event was culminated by the vote of thanks by the Headmistress, Ms Geeta Kanwar. The mothers appreciated the efforts of the school and the teachers for organizing such a splendid session. The day ended with all mothers and children, enjoying themselves and taking back fond memories of a day well spent.
