The much-anticipated trip to Sariska for Grade V students took place from January 31st to February 1st, 2025, and proved to be a resounding success, filled with adventure, learning, and fun.
Day 1 (January 31st, 2025): The students assembled at school at 6:30 A.M. and departed promptly at 7:00 A.M. after roll call and a quick briefing. After reaching the resort, the afternoon was dedicated to group games and activities, fostering camaraderie and teamwork amongst the students.
The evening session was particularly special, with an engaging orientation to the night sky. Students learned about latitude finders, planispheres, constellation hunting, and star hopping, sparking their curiosity about astronomy. The evening concluded with music and dance, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the resort.
Day 2 (February 1st, 2025): An early wake-up call in the morning. prepared the students for an exciting jungle safari at the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. The safari, provided a unique opportunity to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the region. The students were excited as they visited the picturesque Siliserh Lake, enjoying the serene beauty of the surroundings. The departure for school began shortly thereafter.
The learners returned from the trip with beaming smiles, expressing immense joy and satisfaction. They were thrilled with the diverse experiences, from the educational stargazing session to the thrilling jungle safari. The trip provided them with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for nature and their classmates.
