St. Xavier's High School, sector 49 Gurugram proudly hosted the much-anticipated Inter-School Annual Fest Xavenium - "Colossal Marvels" on 2nd and 3rd August ’2024 for Grade UKG to Grade V. The event celebrated the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ seamlessly, integrating with the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by United Nations and Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony by our honourable chief guest Ms Meenu Bhargava and esteemed dignitaries Director - Principal Ms Ritu Mehta, Headmistress Middle and Pre - Primary Wing, Coordinator Senior and Primary Wing.
Day 1 of Xavenium aimed to inspire students to appreciate cultural heritage and understand global sustainability providing a platform for students to learn, grow, and showcase their talents while promoting healthy competition and fostering a sense of community among schools. The event featured a plethora of collaborative and individual competitive activities, including art installations, skit presentations, tableau, poem recitation, quiz, robotics, and culiniary.
With 33 schools of Gurugram competing rigorously, judges had a tough time passing their judgment due to the exceptional quality and diversity of the entries. They ensured that the best talents were recognised and felicitated.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the participating schools, esteemed judges, dedicated teachers, and enthusiastic students who contributed to the success of Day 1 of the event.
