A special assembly was conducted on Tuesday, 12th May 2026. It was presented by the Xaverians of VIII D in the school to commemorate the legacy of B. R. Ambedkar and to spread awareness about his contribution towards equality, education and the Constitution of India.

A soulful prayer, seeking peace, wisdom and unity among all, added solemnity to the environment. This was followed by an inspiring thought of the day highlighting the importance of education and equality as emphasized by Dr. Ambedkar.

Middle School students then presented a meaningful voice-over enactment portraying important events from Dr. Ambedkar’s life, his struggles against social discrimination and his role in drafting the Indian Constitution. The performance beautifully conveyed his message of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

A graceful dance performance added vibrancy to the assembly and reflected the spirit of unity and patriotism. The audience appreciated the students’ confidence, coordination and expressive presentation. The assembly concluded with an oath where students pledged to respect equality, uphold constitutional values and work towards creating a society free from discrimination. The assembly was informative, inspiring and successfully instilled the values of hard work, determination and social responsibility among the students.

At the end the Director-Principal, Ms. Ritu Mehta, motivated the students by encouraging them to follow the ideals of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and understand the importance of education, equality and hard work. She inspired students to become responsible citizens and reminded them that determination and knowledge are the keys to success. The message encouraged everyone to respect others and contribute positively towards society.
