The students of Grade V of St. Xavier’s High School, Sector 49 went on an enriching overnight educational outing to Agra on 29th and 30th January 2026, accompanied by their teachers. The trip was thoughtfully planned to provide students with a meaningful blend of historical learning, cultural exposure, and group bonding.The journey began from the school premises with great enthusiasm. Breakfast was served en route, ensuring a comfortable start to the trip. Upon reaching Agra, the students visited the historic Agra Fort, where they gained insight into Mughal architecture and India’s rich cultural heritage.The group then proceeded to the hotel for lunch. Later, the students visited the world-famous Taj Mahal, where they were captivated by its architectural beauty and historical significance. The visit proved to be both educational and inspiring.In the evening, refreshments were served, followed by group activities that encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and camaraderie among the students. The day concluded with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in Agra under the careful supervision of the teachers.The following day began with breakfast at the hotel, after which the students visited Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its magnificent architecture and historical importance. Lunch was arranged en route during the return journey, and evening refreshments were also provided.The group returned safely to the school premises, bringing the memorable outing to a successful conclusion.Overall, the overnight outing was a rewarding and memorable experience for the students. It enriched their understanding of India’s heritage while fostering independence, discipline, and strong peer bonding. The trip was well-organized and left lasting impressions on both students and teachers.
