Grade V-F conducted a meaningful and thought-provoking assembly on “Hiroshima – A Lesson for Peace,” highlighting the importance of peace, kindness, humanity and mutual respect. The students reflected on the tragic events of Hiroshima and remembered the innocent lives affected by the devastation, conveying the message that peace must always be valued and protected.
Through a series of thoughtful messages and a beautiful dance presentation, the students beautifully expressed the importance of harmony, compassion and understanding. The graceful dance added vibrancy and emotional depth to the assembly. The students also emphasised that differences should be resolved through dialogue and empathy rather than violence, and encouraged everyone to spread kindness through their words and actions.
The assembly concluded with a moment of silence in remembrance of those affected by war, followed by a pledge to become responsible ambassadors of peace and harmony. The presentation left the audience with a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can contribute towards building a peaceful world.
Following the assembly, Adway Gulati of Grade V-C was felicitated for his remarkable achievements in various inter-school sporting competitions. He secured Gold and 1st position at XavSports 2.0 in basketball and a Bronze Medal at DPS International. In swimming, he won three Gold Medals and the Best Swimmer Trophy at Beacon School. He also earned one Gold and two Bronze Medals at Lotus Valley and three Silver Medals at Satya School. His exceptional sporting achievements and dedication were applauded by the school community, inspiring his peers to strive for excellence both on and off the field.

    The morning was enlightened with a spirit of patriotism and national pride as the students conducted a special assembly on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to commemorate the life and legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
    The solemn prayer, followed by the ‘Thought of the Day’, highlighted the virtues of courage, integrity, and nationhood. The news segment that followed reflected the students’ awareness and articulacy.
    The focal point of the assembly was a compelling dramatization that brought to life the defining moments of Sardar Patel’s journey. Through powerful dialogues and evocative narration, the students depicted his resolute determination in integrating over 560 princely states into one nation after independence. The skit portrayed the challenges he faced and his unwavering conviction that India’s strength lay in its unity.
    The energetic group dance symbolized the spirit of oneness and diversity of our country. Informative facts about Sardar Patel’s contribution to nation-building were also shared, underscoring his role as the architect of modern India. The audience listened with rapt attention as the presentation highlighted that true leadership lies in selfless service and firm resolve.
    Addressing the gathering, the Director-Principal, Ms. Ritu Mehta, lauded the students for their expressive performance and commendable understanding of national history. 
    The well-executed assembly concluded with a renewed collective commitment to uphold  the values that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel championed and that remain profoundly relevant even today.

The performance was well-received and left the audience mesmerized.
