Grade VIII-E students presented an enlightening morning assembly centred on the timeless virtues of kindness, awareness, and social reform, drawing profound inspiration from the life and legacy of Raja Ram Mohan Roy. 

A solemn special prayer, followed by a reflective 'Thought of the Day' that underscored the quiet power of benevolence was shared with the audience during the  assembly. The news segment offered pertinent updates on national, international, sports and weather, demonstrating the students’ articulacy and poise.

The focal point of the assembly was a compelling dramatization depicting Ram Mohan Roy’s resolute campaign against the inhumane practice of Sati.Through the powerful dialogues and evocative narration, students portrayed the conflict between regressive tradition and rational humanitarianism. The skit culminated in the historic 1829 abolition of Sati, underscoring Ram Mohan Roy’s conviction that true religion resides in reason and compassion. A melodious song further amplified the theme of empathy and reform.

In her address, the Director-Principal, Ms. Ritu Mehta, lauded the students for their expressive performance and social consciousness.  

The well-planned  assembly left the audience with a renewed commitment to uphold dignity, justice and humanitarian values.
