“*One can measure the greatness and moral progress of a nation by looking at how it treats its animals.*”

International Tiger Day is celebrated on July 29 to raise awareness about the conservation of tigers, which over the last 150 years has witnessed a massive drop of nearly 95% in its population. However, with several countries taking measures to curb poaching, illegal wildlife trade, human-wildlife conflict, and habitat loss, etc, the tiger population has shown some growth. Not just that, cutting of trees also contributes significantly to habitat loss, thereby leading to the reduction in the number of tigers.

Let's hear out the views of our little Xaverian on this International Tiger Day and admire the beauty and existence of these big cats in our life in Xaverian Podtale by the Xaverian for the XAVERIANS !
