Animals are not  Property or  Things But rather Living Organisms, who are worthy of our compassion , Respect , Friendship and Support .

Every animal has the right to co-exist with us; Mahatma Gandhi once said, " the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated". 
Hence to raise awareness about the well-being of animals, improve the welfare of animals and to sensitize our students about animals being recognized as sentient beings and full reward should pe paid to their welfare, St. Xaviers High school, Sector 49 Gurugram, organised English Poem Composition *for the students of Grades III - V and  *Slogan Writing Competition for the students of Grades VI-VII on 9 th Oct, 2020.
