The hallowed corridors of the institution resounded with pride and pageantry on Saturday, April 18, 2026, on the joyous occasion of Aficionado: Scholar's Day 2025-26 — a celebration of passionate pursuit of knowledge with dedication and perseverance. The morning unfolded as a symphony of intellect, discipline and artistic grace, celebrating the academic excellence of scholars of Grades III-VIII who transformed diligence into distinction.
The gracious presence of the distinguished dignitaries - Chief Guest Ms. Seema Dhankar, Additional Director of Income Tax at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Regional Campus, Delhi,
Guest of Honour Rev. Ben Dang Toshi, Director Principal - Ms. Ritu Mehta, Senior Headmistress Ms. Malbika, Headmistress Middle School Ms. Geeta Kanwar, Headmistress Primary Wing Ms. Jayashree and Headmistress Pre-Primary Wing Ms. Shalini Grover, made the ceremony more special and momentous. The ceremonial lamp lighting by the eminent dignitaries symbolised the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.
A soulful hymn by the choristers of Grades VI-VIII, created a serene and reverent atmosphere. The Guest of Honour, Reverend Ben Dang Toshi, whose serenity lent a spiritual gravitas to the occasion, blessed the August gathering. The ambience was further elevated by a graceful invocation dance by the primary students, seeking blessings from Goddess Saraswati for a meaningful and successful event.
The Processional March, a stately parade of the academic Scholars of Grades III-VIII, Super Scholars (who have secured above 90% consecutively for three years), and students with 100% attendance from Grades III-VIII, along with their felicitation with badges, mementoes and certificates, enhanced the solemn cadence of the ceremony with their scholastic brilliance.
The engaging mime presentation by the young Xaverians conveyed a powerful message of time management through expressive gestures, followed by an inspiring address by the Director-Principal, Ms. Ritu Mehta who shared words of encouragement and appreciation for the students’ efforts and achievements.
The artistic expression came alive on stage with a motivational dance performance by the Middle School students, an embodiment of fervent passion and unyielding dedication. Through rhythm and symbolism, the young performers narrated the scholar’s odyssey — from doubt to determination, from effort to excellence — leaving the audience both moved and inspired. Thereafter, the Chief Guest - Ms. Seema Dhankhar, the Additional Director of Income Tax at the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Regional Campus, Delhi, addressed the gathering. With eloquence and warmth, she applauded the students’ efforts and motivated them to continue striving for excellence. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Headmistress Middle School, Ms. Geeta Kanwar, with dignity and gratitude. The programme culminated with the School Song and the National Anthem, leaving all present with a deep sense of pride and fulfilment.
