St. Xavier’s High School hosted the highly anticipated Girls’ Inter House Aquatic Meet 2024, a day brimming with competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and aquatic prowess.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome, followed by the Competitors March, which set the tone for an exhilarating day.
The Felicitation and Oath Ceremony marked the beginning of the meet, instilling a sense of unity and determination among the participants.
Our esteemed Director-Principal, Ms Ritu Mehta delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the athletes to give their best and embrace the values of fair play and perseverance.
The swimming events began with the 50m Free Style races across various divisions (A, B, C, and D), showcasing the speed and skill of our young swimmers. This was followed by the podium call for the winners of these thrilling races, celebrating their outstanding performances.
Next, the 25m Free Style races took center stage, with divisions C, D, E, and F competing fiercely for the top spots.
The atmosphere was electric as the winners were announced and took their places on the podium.
The competition continued with the 25m Back Stroke events for divisions C, D, and E, where the swimmers demonstrated their exceptional technique and endurance. Following the backstroke races, the 25m Breast Stroke and Butterfly Stroke events highlighted the diverse talents of our swimmers across different strokes.
The relay races added a team element to the meet, with the 25m x 4 Relay events for divisions C, D, and E bringing an extra dose of excitement and collaboration.
The grand finale saw the victorious teams proudly standing on the podium, cheered on by their peers.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, staff, and supporters. The day was beautifully wrapped up with the School Song and the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
The Girls’ Inter House Aquatic Meet 2024 was a testament to the dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship of our students. We congratulate all the swimmers for their remarkable achievements and look forward to more such inspiring events in the future.
