XAVERIANS of Grade VI visited the Japan Foundation and had a truly enriching and memorable session with Japanese native mentor, Ms. Suzuki.
The interaction began with an engaging Japanese quiz that tested their knowledge of body parts, Japanese culture, and the geography of Japan. This was followed by a lively round of the traditional Japanese game Fukuwarai, which brought laughter and joy to the group. Ms. Suzuki also introduced the students to the concept of membership at The Japan Foundation, explaining its benefits and how it can support their continued learning journey.
To make the experience even more special, all participants were presented with a Hiragana and Katakana notebook, a folder, and a bookmark as thoughtful giveaways.
Finally, the students explored the beautiful library, where they immersed themselves in manga and anime, further deepening their cultural understanding and appreciation.
