The Jungle Book - Kindergarten

The aura of the school was no less than the super fantastic jungle of the ‘Jungle Book' as the scholars of 'Kindergarten' celebrated their Annual Day on the morning of 26th November 2016. The sparkling morning of the Annual Fiesta was graced by H E Mr. Jagdishwar Goburdhun as Chief Guest and Mr. Naveen Jindal as special invitee. The Scholars of Grade KG looked extra cute with their extraordinary animal make up and costumes as flowers, trees and other jungle creatures. The story of a lonely boy Mowgli, whose parents were killed by the ferocious tiger Sherkhan, was well displayed by the young ones. The parents were enthralled to see young ones performing on stage with such ease and confidence. The little Mowgli's were confidently carrying the story showing his struggle with the deadly serpent 'Kaa' and cunning Sherkhan, ultimately defeating them and  crowned as the King of the jungle.

The effort of the young dramatists and dancers was thoroughly enjoyed and applauded by the dignitaries, guests and the parent.

It is rightly said "A step taken in the right direction always leads to propitious results. These little Xaverians will surely reach the zenith of success with the dint of their hard work and such regular exposures on stage".

    Allusion Galore - The Annual Fiesta 2016

    The sleepless nights, the untiring effort , the endless rehearsals, the stay backs, the laughter behind the stage....... yes, it was the Annual Fiesta 2016  Allusion Galore.

    Juan Jose Cortez Rajas,  charge de 'Affaires' Plurinational state of Bolivia made the evening extra special by his presence as the evening extra special by his presence as the Chief Guest. Kathak Maestra, Padmashree, Padma Bhusan Ms, Uma Shankar and Chaitali Moitra, Director Collins India were the special invitees for the event.

    The programme began with the evolution of Earth by introduction of five element Land, Water, Air, Sky and Fire. Through their dance the scholars of grade IV-V illustrated their functions in smooth existence of mankind on earth. The thrills of fire in hands and props added extra magic in the performance of these little ones. The parents could not stop their thunderous applaud after watching their young  ones performing with such elegance and confidence.

    The evening had mega event pipelined and parents could not hold their excitement. The French Folk song show cased the cultural dance performed by the maidens in the country during the time of harvest. The thrill  of the evening was the hour long live stage play Pride and Prejudice. The students of grade VII-VIII walked an extra mile and made all the characters come alive. The   performance of the students was magnetic and left the audience mesmerised. The dances of the play included a variety of Ballroom style, Ballet and Waltz. The audience could not stop themselves from praising and applauding the young and dynamic dramatists.

    The programme also included the prize distribution ceremony of the academic scholars of the previous academic session 2015-2016.

    The event ended with a beautiful message of peace " Add meaning to your life" where theXaverians spread the message of harmony, unity and faith in forgiveness.

    It is rightly said " Five fingers together make a fist", the joint effort of all the students together resulted in a beautiful fiesta, which will be cherished for many  years to come.

      Cinderella - A Modern Love Story

      "An essential aspect of creativity is not being afraid to fail as it always seems impossible until it is done".

      It was the happiest moment for every Xaverian of Grade I, II and III as they were geared up for the Annual Fiesta 2016 - "Cinderella - A Modern Love Story".

      The bright evening had an extra star twinkling on them as the star studded evening was at its best. Major General Ravi Arora (Retd.), chief editor Indian Military review presided the event as the Chief Guest. Nalini and Kamalini - Famous Kathak duo were present as the Guests of honour.

      The journey of Ella becoming Cinderella was musically portrayed by the students. Each and every class showed the scenes of the most beautiful fairy tale ever written. The audience was mesmerised, spell bound and amazed to see such young learners perform with grace and elegance.

      The joyful evening came to an end with rejoicing alliance of Cinderella with her prince charming.

      The gleeful parent congratulated the school management and their staff on successful completion of the gala event, which exhibited the endless enthusiasm of the little Xaverians.  The vote of thanks raised by the Junior School Head Ms. Nikieta Baheti spoke about hard work, dedication and believing in oneself for one’s dreams to come true!

        Cinemagica - From Reel to Real

        The morning of Friday, 25th November ‘2016 could not have been better than having all our favourite characters performing live on stage.

        Yes!  It was the Annual Fiesta of St. Xaviers High School, Gurgaon for the learners of Pre-Nursery and Nursery. The area of the school was no less than a dream place in Disney Land with little Xaverians dressed as Minious, Smurfs, The Lion King, Frozen Princes, Fairies, Barbie, Alvis and the Chipmunks or Alex, Gloria and Melman of the Madagascar.

        It was a star studded event as H.E Mr. Josef Arojenic, Ambassador of Slovania graced the occasion as Chief Guest.  Mr. Mathew Mcccraken, 2nd secretary  Canadian High Commission, Mr. Makathe Emmanuel Mankiame secretary ( High Commission of Kingdom of Losotho) along with Lion Gaurav Gupta, President Rajasthan Academy and Mr. K.L Malhotra general secretary -ICHR also made the morning more sparkling and special with their presence.

        The real sunshine of the morning were the learners of Pre- Nursery and Nursery who stole the show with their grooving moves and looked  absolutely stunning in their movie fitting attires. The vote of thanks raised by the Junior School Head Ms. Nikieta Baheti spoke about hard work, dedication and believing in oneself for one’s dreams to come true!

        The aura was beyond description where the little ones tapped their dancing feet on the floor. The event left parents mesmerised and craving for more.

        As it is rightly said - A right step taken in the right direction is a sure shot mantra to victory. These little Xavierians have great milestones to achieve as such exposure will surely give them opportunities larger than life!

          Xaverian meet the First Citizen of India : The President

          What else could be a better present for Xaverians on Children's day than meeting the President of India. The bright day brought the golden opportunity for six students, who visited Rashtrapati Bhawan along with Co-ordinator Geeta Kanwar and faculty Nidhi Dhiman.

          Students toured the National History Museum, wherein they learnt the journey of the  Presidents  since 1947. The day was sparkled by the presence of his Excellency , Pranab Mukherjee and a golden opportunity to be photographed with him. The Children's  day gave the present worth remembering for their lifetime.
