        NEW

One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well

Every Sunday is not meant for relaxing…sometimes you should brush your culinary skills as well, and when the students decide to leave the laziness and comfort of  the bed and get geared to learn new things it is said that great things are sure to happen. Twenty three students of grade 7 and 8 were privileged to attend culinary workshop held by professional chefs in collaboration with Maggi at the school premises. As someone rightly stated that if eating is a necessity then cooking is a skill. Our young chefs tried their hands in learning Thai veg curry in exotic vegetables, Coconut pancake with maple fruit compote, banana sapodilla (chikoo) Smoothie and Pasta in exotic vegetables. While cooking, students were also updated with the safety measures to be taken in the kitchen. The chefs also emphasized on the fact of keeping the hands clean and maintaining hygiene as a must while cooking food. They also laid  stress on the importance of eating home cooked meals as it is beneficial for our organal system. The students enjoyed the lip smacking dishes after cooking them. Their expressions were worth recording as they could then relate the effort made by their moms in cooking delicacies for them. The teens with knives and forks in hand also explored another unknown field to excel as they were all young master chefs in making.

A good food leads to good mood, a good mood leads to a happy day and many happy days lead to a beautiful life. So eat good, stay healthy.
