“The world is full of diamonds and gems”, and they were all showcased at the glorious event Allusion Galore 2022. It was an exhilarating day of fun and fantasy for Grades III & V at St. Xavier’s High School, wherein everyone witnessed the beauty and splendor of everlasting, timeless love and sacrifice.
The Broadway Musical – “Beauty and The Beast – A Timeless Saga of Selfless Love” performed by the students of Grades III & V was a stupendous and stunning mega event conducted on Friday, December 16, 2022. The audience relished an extravagant and completely entertaining evening. They were mesmerized and spell bound at the grandeur of the event.
The evening was blessed by the presence of Ms. Anupama Trigunayat as the Chief Guest, Reverend Ben Toshi as the Guest of Honour and the Eminent School Director, Mr. Tarun Sachdeva who graced the event with his benign presence.
The event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by the Lord's Prayer by the Reverend.The unique charm and exhilaration prevailed on the stage, which pulsated with the collation of music and dance extravaganza. The students performed with great enthusiasm and versatility the famous musical – Beauty and The Beast showcasing how selfless love can bring a hundred-fold.
At the end of the play the audience was given balloons to release into the air symbolizing the release of all ego and hostility.
The resplendence of the show was marked by the grand finale which witnessed the gleaming and happy faces of 404 students who assembled on stage holding the Xaverian banner high with pride. The children displayed a plethora of dances and acts which simply enthralled the audience. The performances were applauded and appreciated by everyone present. The diligent hard work and perseverance of the children was distinctly visible in their performance portraying the timeless saga of selfless love. It was a dazzling evening wherein the gems of St Xavier’s High School sparkled brilliantly.
The talent showcased by our budding stars in the Broadway Musical of Grades III & V was paramount and beyond compare. The Director-Principal, Mr John Rafi, brought the event to a formal close by presenting the vote of thanks acknowledging the support received from the Directors, Mr Mohit Sachdeva and Mr Tarun Sachdeva. Special mention about the Middle Wing Headmistress Ms. Geeta Kanwar and the teachers and non-teaching staff for taking great efforts to prepare and organize this event.The function culminated with the School Song and National Anthem.
