“Behind every young child who believes
in himself is a parent who believed first.”
Studies prove, at the end of the day, the most
overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.
This supports the children to get the maximum out of their untapped potentials.
Keeping this in mind, St. Xavier’s High School, Gururgam, organized its fifth Parent
Orientation Programme 2019-20 on 25th March 2019.
The Principal, Mr. Stanley Anthony enlightened the gathering by
walking through the Vision and Philosophy of the school and also introduced the
parents with the culture of the School. The programme
commenced with the lighting of lamp followed by a welcome dance. The

the school. The detailed policy structure of the school, evaluation criteria,

Headmistresses of Primary School and Middle School. They also introduced all

approaches to parenting. Her words of wisdom touched each and every person
sitting there and were indeed very inspiring and enriching.
The Orientation Programme for the newly admitted
students was an ice breaker session as the parents later had the opportunity of
interacting with the respective class teachers. They were also provided with
the handouts that contained all the relevant information for the children.
The programme came to an end on
the note, that every child is a different kind of flower, and altogether makes
this world a beautiful garden and within every child is
the inherent potential to be great.
