“Leaders are not born but are made by
their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students
and to give them a feel of the functioning of the administrative body, a school
cabinet was formed in the Investiture Ceremony at St Xavier’s High School,
Gurugram on Wednesday May 17 2017.
The function began with the lighting of
lamp by the chief guest, Mr. Deepak Saharan, DCP East Gurugram and presided
over by Reverend S. Solomon, Presbyter – in-charge, Church of Epiphany who
offered a special prayer to motivate the future leaders. The stellar
performance by the school choir mesmerised the audience. The meritorious
students of the previous academic session were also awarded for their untiring
effort and hard work throughout the year. To acknowledge the students’
regularity to school, 100% attendance awards were also given.

Sachdeva and the chief guest gave the badges and stashes to the newly elected
council members. The Principal, Mr. Nicholas Gomes administered the oath to the

in activities like these. He also congratulated the cabinet members for their
preparedness to take responsibilities on their shoulders. He wished well to all
the members of the school cabinet.
