    NEW

“We didn’t realize we were making memories, we were just having fun”

Such was the scenario at St. Xavier’s High School. The bright faces, the blooming smiles….Oh! It was a pleasure watching those happy faces.

The happiness was because of the fun-filled trip organised to Kidzania Noida. A total of  256 students enjoyed the fun-filled trip. Kidzania offered a variety of  activities as a learning opportunity to the students. The place had a series of planned learning by doing. A platform which enabled the students to get insight of the profession. The students enacted as ‘Judge’ and declared the judgment, the opponents had defence lawyers to protect themselves, the students became the rescue rangers and rescued people from the fire, playing the fire extinguishing team. They also realized the importance of medicines and treatments by playing the role of a doctor. To add more fun to the trip, they had live workshops wherein the students learnt to bake their own pizza and made frooti from the mango pulp. The students also learnt to ramp walk and had put up a fashion show.

The idea behind the trip was to give a lifetime experience of various professions which would help them to choose the direction for their future and lend a helping hand to their parents as they could understand their contribution.

Children enjoyed savory meals and had a gala time grooving to the foot tapping dance numbers.

The day concluded with a pride march in the Character Parade by the SMURFS.

The students did not want the day to end as they couldn’t have enough of it.

It is not how much we have, but how we enjoy, that makes happiness.
